We're a B2C fintech app with 800k users. We're adding an AI financial coach — a conversational interface that helps users understand their spending, set goals and plan for big purchases.
The UX challenges are genuinely interesting: how do you handle when the AI is uncertain? How do you show when a response is AI-generated vs. factual data? How do you gracefully escalate to a human advisor when the conversation gets complex?
We need a senior UX designer who has shipped AI-native features before and can design for the edge cases, not just the happy path. You'll work in Figma, run user research, and have direct input on the AI behaviour itself.
Requirements
– Portfolio showing AI or conversational UI design (chatbots, voice, or LLM-powered features)
– Strong user research skills — we prototype and test, we don't just ship
– Comfortable discussing LLM limitations with engineers
– Experience designing for trust and transparency in automated systems
