AI Boiler Efficiency Anomaly Detection Engineer

Ethan Park

Full-time · Job · Chicago

About the role

TensorFlow, industrial sensor telemetry and time-series anomaly detection are the core of what we build for our manufacturing clients. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies in heavy industry, and reliability of our anomaly alerts is non-negotiable — a missed detection means an unplanned boiler shutdown costing hundreds of thousands of dollars. You'll build the model that flags efficiency drift in industrial boilers before it becomes a failure, working on-site at our Chicago engineering hub alongside the process engineers who validate every alert against physical inspection data.

Responsibilities

  • Build anomaly detection models for industrial boiler telemetry
  • Validate model alerts against physical inspection findings
  • Partner with process engineers to tune detection thresholds
  • Maintain production monitoring for deployed detection models

Requirements

  • 6+ years in industrial ML or process engineering analytics
  • Strong TensorFlow and time-series experience
  • Comfortable working on-site in an industrial environment
  • Experience validating models against physical ground truth

Benefits

  • On-site role at our Chicago engineering hub
  • Top-tier salary plus performance bonus
  • Full health, dental and vision coverage
  • 401k matching
