About the role

Our deployment operations team tracks dozens of release metrics by hand every week, and it's starting to slow decision-making down. We're hiring a junior operations analyst to build the reporting layer that fixes that — clean SQL queries feeding Tableau and Power BI dashboards the whole team can trust without double-checking. You'll join a cross-functional squad with defined sprints, clear ownership, and weekly syncs with operations leadership. It's a great first role for someone who wants structured mentorship while still owning real, visible deliverables from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Build SQL queries to pull weekly operations metrics
  • Maintain Tableau and Power BI dashboards used by the ops team
  • Partner with senior analysts to define new reporting needs
  • Investigate and flag discrepancies in operational data
  • Present weekly summaries at team syncs

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of SQL for querying relational data
  • Some experience with Tableau or Power BI dashboarding
  • Strong attention to detail
  • 0-2 years of experience in an operations or analytics role
  • Comfortable presenting findings to a small team
