About the role

Brands running influencer partnerships through our platform have started reporting suspicious engagement patterns from certain creator accounts, ranging from purchased followers to bot-driven engagement pods. We're looking for an experienced freelancer to build a fraud detection layer that scores creator accounts before brands commit partnership budget, working independently against a clear set of deliverables over a flexible engagement structure.

Responsibilities

  • Build fraud detection models scoring creator accounts for suspicious engagement patterns
  • Identify signals indicative of purchased followers or engagement pods
  • Deliver a scoring API that brand teams can query before committing budget
  • Document detection methodology for internal trust and safety review

Requirements

  • 5+ years in fraud detection, trust and safety, or social analytics
  • Strong Python, pandas, and scikit-learn skills
  • Experience working independently as a freelancer on scoped deliverables
  • Familiarity with social media engagement data patterns
