About the role

As a fully async team spread across 9 time zones, we believe great data scientists don't need to be in the same room to ship impactful work. Krato AI is a growth intelligence platform for B2B SaaS companies, and we're looking for a freelance specialist to build the CAC optimization engine that helps our clients find their lowest-cost acquisition channels without sacrificing lead quality. You'll analyze multi-channel campaign data, build attribution models that go beyond last-touch, and develop optimization algorithms that recommend budget reallocation across paid channels. The outputs feed directly into our client-facing growth dashboard and are reviewed by marketing leaders at funded startups and scale-ups. This is a 3-6 month freelance engagement with clear deliverables. We move fast: the first model should be in staging within 4 weeks. If you've built CAC or marketing mix models before and know how to handle messy, inconsistent campaign data from a dozen ad platforms, this is a well-scoped project with a clear success metric.

Responsibilities

  • Build multi-touch attribution models across paid acquisition channels
  • Develop budget reallocation optimization algorithms
  • Own data integration from ad platform APIs into the modeling pipeline
  • Deliver fortnightly model performance reports to internal stakeholders
  • Produce clean documentation and handoff materials at project end

Requirements

  • 3+ years in growth analytics or marketing data science
  • Strong Python and SQL skills
  • Experience with attribution modeling and marketing mix methods
  • Familiarity with major ad platform APIs (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn)
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
