About the role

Python, Airflow, and a genuine belief that good sales intelligence data starts with good labeling are the core of what this freelance role is about. Our mission is to make enterprise sales teams smarter with cleaner underlying data, and that starts with a well-run annotation and ETL process behind the scenes. This role coordinates a small pool of annotators and keeps the ETL pipelines that feed their queues running smoothly using Airflow and SQL. Reliability matters here since bad labels quietly poison downstream models, so every batch needs a quality check before it moves forward.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate annotation batches and quality checks for training data
  • Maintain ETL and Airflow jobs feeding annotation queues
  • Query and validate labeled data using SQL
  • Track annotator throughput and flag quality issues early
  • Report labeling program metrics to the data science team

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in data operations or annotation coordination
  • Basic Python and SQL skills
  • Some familiarity with Airflow or similar orchestration tools
  • Strong organizational and quality-control instincts
  • Comfortable working as a freelancer with flexible scope
