AI Data Anonymization Engineer

About the role

Our clients hand us regulated datasets they can't legally share in raw form, and our current anonymization process still involves a manual review step that slows every project down by days. Our clients include several financial services firms in regulated markets, and reliability and auditability are non-negotiable for this work. You'll build an automated anonymization pipeline that applies statistical disclosure controls and produces an audit trail a client's own compliance team can verify. The pipeline runs on Azure, containerized with Docker, and needs to handle both structured SQL data and semi-structured exports without losing analytical usefulness.

Responsibilities

  • Automate the manual anonymization review step end to end
  • Apply statistical disclosure control techniques to structured datasets
  • Package the pipeline in Docker for deployment on Azure
  • Produce audit trails clients' compliance teams can independently verify

Requirements

  • 5+ years working with data privacy or anonymization techniques
  • Strong SQL and statistics background
  • Experience deploying Docker workloads on Azure
  • Familiarity with regulated data handling requirements
