AI Data Pipeline Vendor SLA Compliance Tracker

About the role

Three external data vendors feed our core pipelines, and when one of them misses their delivery SLA, we usually find out from a downstream team complaining, not from the vendor. This role builds the tracker that monitors vendor delivery timestamps against contracted SLAs and flags breaches automatically, giving us leverage in vendor renewal conversations instead of anecdotes.

Responsibilities

  • Build a tracker monitoring vendor data delivery against SLAs
  • Flag SLA breaches automatically as they occur
  • Provide data for vendor renewal and negotiation conversations

Requirements

  • 5+ years in data engineering or vendor data integration
  • Experience with Airflow and pipeline monitoring
  • Comfortable working async on a distributed team
