About the role

New data engineers on our team spend their first month piecing together tribal knowledge from old Slack threads and outdated wiki pages. This role builds the system that assembles a personalized onboarding curriculum from our documentation, past incident write-ups, and the specific systems a new hire will actually touch. You'll work with a small team and ship improvements to the curriculum based on real new-hire feedback every cohort.

Responsibilities

  • Build a system generating personalized onboarding curricula
  • Pull content from documentation and past incident write-ups
  • Iterate on curriculum quality using new-hire feedback

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience with Python and internal tooling
  • Interest in developer experience or onboarding design
  • Comfortable working directly with a small team
