About the role

We've already built solid extraction models for invoices and receipts. What's missing is the automation layer that routes extracted data into the right downstream system without someone manually copying fields between tools every day. You'll design and maintain Airflow-based workflows connecting our extraction pipeline to client accounting systems, handling retries, validation failures, and exception routing without manual babysitting. You'll own this end to end, from the ETL logic to the alerting that tells the client success team when something needs human attention.

Responsibilities

  • Build Airflow workflows connecting extraction output to client systems
  • Handle retry and exception logic for failed document routing
  • Maintain ETL pipelines feeding downstream accounting tools
  • Alert client success on exceptions needing manual review

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience building ETL or workflow automation
  • Hands-on experience with Airflow in production
  • Strong SQL skills for pipeline debugging
  • Familiarity with AWS-hosted infrastructure
