AI Embedded Analytics Developer

About the role

SaaS companies want to offer analytics to their users without building a data team. Our embedded analytics platform lets them drop intelligent dashboards, natural language queries, and automated insights directly into their product — white-labeled under their brand. We handle the data engineering, the ML, and the visualization so they can focus on their core product. As a junior developer, you'll build the data connectors and transformation layers that feed our embedded dashboards. Each client has a different data schema, and your job is mapping their raw data into the standardized models our analytics engine expects. It's part puzzle-solving, part plumbing, and part detective work when client data doesn't match their documentation. The embedded analytics team is four engineers. You'll start with guided work on connector development, learning our data modeling patterns. By month three, you'll handle new client integrations independently. The work is varied — no two clients have the same schema, so you'll never be bored.

Responsibilities

  • Build data connectors mapping client schemas to our analytics models
  • Implement transformation layers for data normalization and enrichment
  • Test connectors against sample data and validate output accuracy
  • Debug data quality issues during client onboarding
  • Write documentation for connector configurations and troubleshooting
  • Support client-facing teams with technical data questions

Requirements

  • 1+ year of Python development with SQL proficiency
  • Experience with data transformation and ETL concepts
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON data formats
  • Problem-solving mindset for debugging data quality issues
  • Clear communication skills for working with client-facing teams
