About the role

We serve over 300 enterprise compliance teams — HR departments, ethics officers, and legal investigators — who use Candor's platform to identify patterns in employee misconduct reports. The person in this role will build the detection models that help investigators spot connected cases, escalation risks, and anomalous behavioral clusters before situations become crises. You'll analyze structured and unstructured misconduct data, build unsupervised clustering models to surface related incidents, and work with the product team to integrate your outputs into the investigator workflow. You'll also own the fairness layer — our clients are highly sensitive to models that could encode demographic bias into workplace decisions. This is mission-critical data science: your outputs feed directly into investigations that affect careers and corporate governance. We hold accuracy to a high standard and require explainability for every flagged cluster. If you've worked in HR analytics, fraud detection, or behavioral risk modeling, you'll feel at home here.

Fully remote.
