About the role

Large European media group. We publish news, run streaming services and operate a programmatic advertising business. We use AI in 12 different ways — content recommendation, ad targeting, automated article generation for sports and finance, and headline A/B testing. Our editorial board has raised concerns. Our advertisers are asking questions. The EU AI Act has our legal team stressed. We need an external AI ethics consultant to audit our AI use cases, assess the ethical and regulatory risk profile of each, and produce a clear report with priority recommendations. We want someone who can tell us what we're doing wrong — not validate what we're doing right. Comfortable disagreeing with media executives is a prerequisite.
