AI Executive Compensation Clawback Trigger Detector

About the role

Our mission is to make corporate accountability enforceable instead of aspirational, and executive compensation clawback clauses are a case where good policy often goes unenforced simply because nobody is watching for trigger events. Boards write clawback clauses into executive contracts, but nobody consistently monitors financial restatements, misconduct findings, or performance metric miss triggers that should activate them. You will build a monitoring tool that flags when clawback conditions are met, based on structured financial and governance data. You'll join our small governance automation team, reporting to a senior analyst who reviews every flagged trigger before it goes to a client's board.

Responsibilities

  • Build a monitoring tool for executive compensation clawback triggers
  • Track financial restatements and governance findings
  • Flag trigger events for senior analyst review
  • Maintain data sources used for trigger detection
  • Document trigger logic for client governance teams

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience with data analysis or governance data
  • Comfortable working with financial and legal documents
  • Basic Python and SQL skills
  • Interest in corporate governance or compliance
