About the role

Candor Systems makes ethics and compliance software for mid-sized companies, and one of our most-used modules is the gift and hospitality register. Employees log the dinners, tickets and gifts they give or receive. Compliance teams are meant to review them, but with thousands of entries per quarter most only get skimmed. Pandas, SQL and Power BI are the tools you'll use daily. You'll help build anomaly checks that flag unusual entries, such as repeated gifts from one vendor or values just below approval thresholds, and turn them into dashboards customers can act on. It's a good role for someone early in their career who wants to apply data skills to a real business problem.

Fully remote.

Responsibilities

  • Write SQL and Python checks that flag unusual register entries
  • Build Power BI dashboards showing patterns by vendor, team and period
  • Review flagged cases with our compliance advisors to improve rules
  • Document each check so customers understand why an entry was flagged

Requirements

  • Comfortable with SQL and pandas
  • Some experience building dashboards in Power BI or similar
  • Interest in compliance, audit or business ethics
  • Clear, careful approach to sensitive data
