About the role

As a fully async team spread across multiple time zones, we believe great engineers can work from anywhere, though this particular role includes monthly on-site planning sessions with our developer experience team. Inovex Intelligence's SDK is used by thousands of developers, and our support channels get flooded every week with the same local environment setup issues — dependency conflicts, Docker misconfigurations, version mismatches. You'll build an AI assistant that walks developers through fixing their local setup interactively, starting as a contract engagement with a clear path to full-time if it's a good mutual fit.

Responsibilities

  • Build an interactive AI assistant for local dev environment troubleshooting
  • Analyze common support ticket patterns to train assistant responses
  • Integrate the assistant into existing developer documentation and CLI tools
  • Iterate based on developer feedback from the beta rollout
  • Coordinate with the developer experience team on monthly on-site syncs

Requirements

  • FastAPI and Docker experience for building developer tooling
  • LangChain experience for building interactive assistants
  • Comfort analyzing support ticket data to identify common issues
  • Available for monthly on-site planning sessions
  • Contract-to-hire availability preferred
