AI Medication Reconciliation Engineer

Alice Rossi

Full-time · Job · New_York

About the role

Our clients include hospital systems where a missed drug interaction during a care transition can directly harm a patient, so reliability here is non-negotiable. Our prior authorization and discharge summary tools already reduce paperwork burden at transition points, but medication reconciliation, checking a patient's full medication list for conflicts, duplicates, and omissions across care transitions, still happens manually under significant time pressure. This role builds the model that flags reconciliation issues before a clinician signs off.

Responsibilities

  • Build models that flag medication conflicts, duplicates, and omissions
  • Integrate reconciliation checks into existing care transition workflows
  • Work with clinical staff to validate flagged issues against real cases
  • Maintain model accuracy against evolving drug interaction databases

Requirements

  • Strong background in healthcare NLP or clinical data modeling
  • Experience with scikit-learn and structured clinical data
  • Understanding of medication safety and clinical workflow constraints
  • Ability to work with sensitive patient data under HIPAA-aligned practices

Benefits

  • Fully remote position
  • Competitive salary well above market median
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Annual health-tech conference budget
