About the role

Git, large monorepos, and a fastapi-based suggestion service are the core of what we build. If you've ever watched a senior engineer burn an afternoon resolving a gnarly three-way merge conflict, you already understand the problem we're solving. You'll build a service that proposes merge resolutions based on the intent of each branch's changes, not just line-level diffs, and surfaces a confidence score so engineers know when to trust it. The role sits inside our developer productivity team and ships weekly to internal users before we consider external release.

Responsibilities

  • Build a merge conflict resolution suggestion service
  • Design confidence scoring so engineers know when to trust suggestions
  • Ship weekly releases to internal developer tooling users

Requirements

  • 5+ years building developer tools or code intelligence systems
  • Strong python and containerized service experience
  • Comfortable working two days a week from our NYC office
