AI Predictive Spare Parts Inventory Engineer

About the role

Spark, Kafka, and AWS are the backbone of the streaming pipelines that keep our factory floor dashboards live. If you know how to turn machine telemetry into a forecast, we want you. You'll build models that predict which spare parts will fail next and when, so plant managers stop over-ordering inventory they don't need. Fast-moving team. Big problem. We need someone who ships forecasts that hold up against real machine failures, not just backtests.

Responsibilities

  • Build predictive models for spare parts failure forecasting
  • Maintain streaming pipelines ingesting machine telemetry
  • Ship forecasts validated against real failure events

Requirements

  • 4+ years with python and streaming data pipelines
  • Experience with spark and kafka in production
  • Comfortable working with noisy sensor data
