About the role

Not all buyers respond the same way to price changes. A price-sensitive segment will defect to a competitor for a 10% discount; a value-driven segment won't notice. Our price sensitivity segmentation identifies which buyers are price-elastic versus price-insensitive using their behavioral signals — search patterns, purchase timing, coupon usage, category breadth — rather than explicit price experiments. You'll build the segmentation models that cluster buyers by sensitivity and the behavioral feature pipeline that feeds them. Each segment gets a price sensitivity score that powers downstream pricing personalization — showing different price thresholds in abandoned cart emails, adjusting discount depth by segment, and prioritizing retention efforts where sensitivity is highest. The marketplace economics team is five people. You'll work with a behavioral economist who validates sensitivity estimates against experimental evidence and a product manager who translates segment scores into pricing campaigns.

Fully remote.
