About the role

Fynix Studio just closed a $22M Series B, and the mandate is clear: convert more trials into paying customers and keep them longer. One of our biggest levers is pricing intelligence. We're hiring an AI Pricing Optimization Engineer to build the models that tell us when to offer a discount, when to hold the line, and which plan structure maximizes long-term revenue per user. You'll join a cross-functional growth squad alongside product, design, and finance. You'll build propensity-to-pay models, run price elasticity experiments in collaboration with the product team, and develop the automated logic that personalizes pricing surfaces in the product. This role has direct reporting visibility to the VP of Product. This is a hybrid role based out of our LA office (2 days/week). You'll have access to rich behavioral data from 80,000+ active trial users. If you like connecting data science directly to revenue outcomes, this squad is where you want to be.

Responsibilities

  • Build propensity-to-pay and price sensitivity models
  • Partner with product to design and analyze pricing experiments
  • Develop automated logic for personalized pricing surface recommendations
  • Own the pricing analytics dashboard reviewed by leadership weekly
  • Collaborate with finance to model long-term revenue impact of pricing changes

Requirements

  • 3+ years data science experience, ideally in a SaaS product environment
  • Strong Python and SQL skills
  • Experience with A/B testing and causal inference methods
  • Comfort with financial modeling concepts
  • Good communication skills for presenting to non-technical stakeholders
