About the role

Have you ever wondered whether your recruiting funnel is actually inefficient, or if it just feels that way? Our customer success platform team is small and mostly remote, and we're bringing on a freelance analyst to figure out, with real data, where our hiring pipeline loses good candidates. You'll work with our People team using Python, SQL, and Pandas to analyze pipeline stage conversion and turn scattered ATS exports into a clear statistical picture. We don't care where you work from. We care about a clear, honest analysis we can actually act on.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze recruiting pipeline data exported from our ATS
  • Build repeatable SQL and Python scripts for pipeline reporting
  • Apply statistical methods to identify real drop-off points
  • Present findings to the People team in plain language
  • Recommend concrete process changes based on the data

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with data analysis using Python and SQL
  • Comfortable working with pandas for data cleaning
  • Working knowledge of statistics for funnel analysis
  • Experience with recruiting or HR data a plus
  • Comfortable working independently on a freelance basis
