AI Remote Sensing Engineer

Aaron Eriksson

Full-time · Job · London

About the role

We don't care where you work from. We care about models that hold up when the satellite imagery looks nothing like your training set, because that's the reality of remote sensing at global scale. You'll build computer vision models in PyTorch that process multi-source satellite imagery for agricultural and environmental monitoring clients, deployed on GCP to handle the scale of daily imagery refreshes across multiple continents. We don't schedule meetings by default. Async written proposals get reviewed by the team lead within a day, and you're expected to make progress without waiting for a synchronous check-in.

Responsibilities

  • Build PyTorch computer vision models for multi-source satellite imagery
  • Deploy and scale inference pipelines on GCP
  • Validate models against imagery from previously unseen regions
  • Write async proposals for new modeling approaches

Requirements

  • 5+ years of computer vision experience, ideally with satellite or aerial imagery
  • Strong PyTorch and NumPy fundamentals
  • Experience deploying models at scale on GCP
  • Comfortable working in a fully async, low-meeting environment

Benefits

  • Fully remote position
  • Async-first culture
  • Equity package
  • Home office stipend
