AI Retail Media Bid Strategy Analyst

About the role

Our clients are consumer brands spending heavily on retail media networks like Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect and Tesco's in-store screens. The person in this role will help them stop guessing at bids. Retail media data is fragmented and attribution is murky, so most brands bid on instinct. We're building models that predict incremental sales by keyword, placement and day, and turn that into bid recommendations account managers can explain to clients. You'll start on a six-month contract with a clear path to a permanent position, working in a squad with two account leads and a data engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Model incremental return on ad spend across retail media placements
  • Turn model outputs into bid recommendations account managers can action
  • Build Power BI reporting that shows clients what changed and why
  • Partner with account leads during monthly client strategy reviews

Requirements

  • Experience in performance marketing analytics, ideally retail media or paid search
  • Strong SQL and Python for modelling and analysis
  • Understanding of incrementality and test-control design
  • Comfortable presenting numbers to non-technical clients
