AI Safety & Responsible AI Specialist

Our product makes decisions that affect people's access to services. We've been lucky so far — no major incidents — but we know we're operating on borrowed time without a proper safety programme. We need someone to build it from scratch. That means red teaming our models, running bias audits, setting up output monitoring, and helping us get ready for the EU AI Act (our legal team is already stressed about it). This is a mix of hands-on technical work and internal communication. You'll run the quantitative audits yourself and also explain the findings to our leadership team, some of whom still think AI safety is science fiction. We're not hiring a compliance checkbox person. We need someone who genuinely thinks about these problems and isn't afraid to tell us when something we've built is a bad idea.
