About the role

Our clients include enterprise sales organizations with commission plans complex enough that payout errors are almost guaranteed every quarter. Finance teams currently catch these errors manually, weeks after payouts go out. This role builds an auditing system that cross-checks commission payouts against deal terms and quota structures before money moves, flagging discrepancies for finance review instead of after-the-fact clawbacks that frustrate sales reps.

Responsibilities

  • Build an auditing pipeline that cross-checks commission payouts against deal terms
  • Flag discrepancies for finance review before payouts are finalized
  • Design reporting that shows recurring error patterns by plan type
  • Work with sales ops to refine commission plan data quality upstream

Requirements

  • 3+ years working with sales compensation, finance, or commission data
  • Strong SQL and pandas skills for reconciliation logic
  • Experience building dashboards in Tableau or similar tools
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with finance and sales ops
