AI Sales Forecast Accuracy Analyst

About the role

We just closed our Series B and our sales team is scaling from 12 reps to 40 within the year, which means forecast accuracy suddenly matters a lot more to leadership. Our current forecasting model works reasonably well for steady-state pipelines, but breaks down when new reps and new territories get added mid-quarter. We need someone to rebuild the forecasting logic to handle this kind of pipeline churn without losing accuracy. Fast-moving team, direct line to the VP of Sales, no patience for slow-moving projects.

Responsibilities

  • Rebuild forecasting models to handle rapid sales team growth
  • Analyze pipeline data to identify accuracy gaps by rep and territory
  • Build dashboards that track forecast accuracy over time
  • Partner directly with sales leadership on model assumptions
  • Run regular model recalibration as the sales org scales

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with sales analytics or forecasting models
  • Strong SQL and statistical modeling skills
  • Experience with scikit-learn or similar modeling libraries
  • Comfortable presenting findings directly to sales leadership
  • Familiarity with Tableau for reporting is a plus
