AI Short-Term Rental Yield Predictor

About the role

We already have a solid valuation engine covering long-term rental and resale pricing across our markets. What's missing is a model tuned specifically for short-term rental yield, where seasonality, local events, and regulation changes swing returns far more than in traditional rentals. You'll join a cross-functional squad with defined sprints and clear ownership, working alongside our data and product leads to close this gap. Your role is to build the yield prediction model from the ground up, validate it against real host earnings data, and ship it into our investor-facing property reports.

Responsibilities

  • Build short-term rental yield prediction models
  • Incorporate seasonality, local events, and regulation signals
  • Validate predictions against real host earnings data
  • Ship yield estimates into investor-facing property reports
  • Partner with product on report presentation and clarity

Requirements

  • 3+ years in real estate analytics or time-series modeling
  • Strong Python and scikit-learn experience
  • Comfortable working with messy, real-world earnings data
  • Experience with dashboarding tools such as Tableau
  • Open to contract-to-hire arrangement
