About the role

Our data pipelines already power draft valuation and injury risk models used across multiple leagues. What we're missing is a rigorous way to value sponsorship deals for athletes and teams beyond gut-feel estimates from brand partners. This contract-to-hire role builds a valuation model that combines audience reach, engagement, and performance trajectory data to produce defensible sponsorship value estimates, with a clear path to full-time based on how the initial models perform.

Fully remote.

Responsibilities

  • Build sponsorship valuation models combining audience and performance data
  • Benchmark valuation outputs against known historical sponsorship deals
  • Present valuation methodology to brand partnership teams
  • Refine models as new audience and engagement data sources are added

Requirements

  • 3+ years in sports analytics, marketing analytics, or valuation modeling
  • Strong Python, pandas, and scikit-learn skills
  • Comfortable working with messy, multi-source audience data
  • Interest in converting to full-time after the initial contract period
