About the role

The assortment recommendations you'll help build are used to stock over 3,000 grocery stores every single week. We already have solid demand forecasting and shelf-life prediction models running in production. What's missing is a clustering layer that groups stores by local buying behavior so assortment planners stop applying one national plan to every location. You'll join a cross-functional squad with defined sprints and clear ownership, building the clustering pipeline and the dashboard planners use to review recommendations before they go to buyers.

Responsibilities

  • Build store clustering models based on local purchasing behavior
  • Develop dashboards planners use to review assortment recommendations
  • Partner with category managers to validate cluster definitions
  • Maintain data pipelines feeding the clustering models

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience, internships or coursework count
  • Python and SQL proficiency
  • Familiarity with Tableau or similar BI tools
  • Interest in retail or supply chain analytics
