AI Supply Chain Sanctions Exposure Analyst

About the role

Our clients include multinational manufacturers who need to know, quickly, whether a new supplier three tiers deep in their chain has any sanctions exposure. A missed connection can mean regulatory penalties or a frozen shipment. Reliability and auditability here are non-negotiable. You'll build statistical models that score supply chain entities for sanctions and export-control exposure risk, using ownership structure data, trade records, and sanctions list updates. Every score needs a traceable rationale a compliance officer can defend to a regulator. You'll work alongside our compliance and intelligence analysts, translating your models into risk reports that get read by legal teams at Fortune 500 companies.

Responsibilities

  • Build sanctions exposure scoring models from ownership and trade data
  • Maintain the Snowflake-based data pipeline behind exposure scores
  • Document model rationale to support compliance officer review
  • Partner with intelligence analysts to validate scores against known cases

Requirements

  • 6+ years in risk analytics, compliance data science, or a related field
  • Strong statistics and SQL background
  • Experience with Snowflake or comparable enterprise data warehouses
  • Comfort working with sensitive, regulated data
