About the role

Our documentation team already ships accurate API references and changelogs on a tight schedule. What's missing is a systematic way to catch tutorials that quietly go stale after an underlying API changes, since nobody notices until a developer files a frustrated support ticket. We don't care where you work from or how many hours a week you put in, as long as tutorials stay accurate and the audits happen on schedule. Your role is to build and run the auditing process that flags outdated tutorial content by comparing it against current API behavior.

Responsibilities

  • Build automated checks comparing tutorials against current API behavior
  • Flag stale tutorial content for the writing team to update
  • Track freshness metrics across the tutorial library
  • Coordinate with the docs team on update prioritization
  • Document recurring patterns behind tutorial drift

Requirements

  • 1-2 years in technical writing or developer-facing tooling
  • Basic Python skills for building audit scripts
  • Familiarity with API documentation workflows
  • Comfortable working part-time with flexible hours
  • Strong attention to detail
