AI Urban Mobility Automation Engineer

About the role

We serve municipal transit agencies across 30 cities, and the person in this role will automate the reporting pipelines those agencies currently assemble by hand every month before board meetings. You'll design automated data pipelines that pull mobility and ridership data, run the statistical models our team already maintains, and push finished dashboards to city partners without an analyst manually rebuilding the same report each cycle. Reliability matters most here — a missed automated report means a transit director walks into a board meeting without numbers.

Responsibilities

  • Automate recurring mobility reporting pipelines for city partners
  • Maintain data quality checks across ingestion pipelines
  • Build Tableau dashboards fed by automated data refreshes
  • Coordinate with client success on reporting deadlines

Requirements

  • 6+ years building data pipelines with Python and SQL
  • Experience with Spark for large-scale data processing
  • Strong statistics background for validating outputs
  • Familiarity with GCP-hosted data infrastructure
