AI Vendor Data Processing Agreement Reviewer

About the role

We serve over 200 enterprise clients who each require their own data processing agreement before we can touch their data, and legal currently reviews every DPA line by line. This role builds the extraction and comparison engine that flags clauses deviating from our standard terms, so legal spends time on the exceptions instead of rereading boilerplate. You'll work hybrid with the legal ops team two days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Build a clause extraction and comparison engine for DPAs
  • Flag clauses deviating from standard contract terms
  • Work hybrid with legal ops to validate flagged deviations

Requirements

  • 3+ years building NLP extraction or comparison pipelines
  • Familiarity with RAG or document-understanding systems
  • Comfortable working hybrid with a legal team
