About the role

Companies buy AI tools and then struggle to integrate them into existing workflows. The tool works in isolation, but the handoffs between AI and human steps are clunky, error-prone, and slower than the manual process they replaced. We fix that — redesigning workflows so AI augments human work instead of creating new friction. This 10-month contract puts you on client sites (virtually) for 6-week engagements. You'll map current workflows, identify where AI adds genuine value vs. unnecessary complexity, design the optimized process, and build the automation that connects AI tools to existing systems. The best workflow optimizations are often the simplest. Sometimes removing an AI step makes the process faster. Sometimes adding a human checkpoint after an AI step catches errors that save hours downstream. You'll need the judgment to know which interventions actually help.

Fully remote.

Responsibilities

  • Map client workflows and identify AI integration opportunities
  • Design optimized processes balancing AI automation with human oversight
  • Build automation connecting AI tools to existing enterprise systems
  • Measure workflow performance before and after optimization
  • Deliver engagement reports with quantified improvement metrics

Requirements

  • 3+ years in process optimization or consulting with AI tools
  • Hands-on experience with LangChain and workflow automation
  • Strong Python skills for integration development
  • Understanding of enterprise software ecosystems
  • Clear communication skills for client-facing consulting work
