About the role

We believe AI should work for everyone, not just big tech, and that includes the county clerk's office trying to process permits faster. Our tools are used by municipalities that often have no dedicated IT team. You'll build lightweight ETL automations that move data between legacy municipal systems and our platform, prioritizing reliability over cleverness. It's a part-time role suited to someone who wants meaningful public-interest work without a full-time commitment.

Responsibilities

  • Build ETL scripts moving data between municipal systems
  • Monitor scheduled jobs and fix breakages quickly
  • Write documentation municipal IT staff can actually follow
  • Flag data quality issues to the product team

Requirements

  • 1+ years working with SQL and basic ETL tooling
  • Comfortable with Python scripting
  • Patience for working with legacy government systems
  • Interest in public-sector or civic tech work
