About the role
A digital health platform is looking for a data scientist with experience handling clinical or health data. You will build models to improve patient outcomes and work closely with clinical and product teams.
Responsibilities
- Build predictive models for patient risk stratification
- Analyse intervention effectiveness with observational data
- Work with clinicians to translate outcomes into model targets
- Ensure all data work meets privacy and compliance standards
- Present insights to clinical leadership
Requirements
- Experience with health or clinical data (EHR, claims, surveys)
- Strong Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn) and SQL
- Understanding of statistical inference and hypothesis testing
- Familiarity with HIPAA data handling requirements
- Bonus: survival analysis or time-series modelling
