We need a Head of AI Product. Here's what that means at our company, specifically. We have 11 AI features live in production. Five of them are working well. Three are underperforming against their original success metrics. Two were shipped before we had a measurement framework in place, so we're not entirely sure how they're doing. One was the right idea at the wrong time and probably should have been descoped earlier. The person in this role will own all of them — the good, the mediocre, and the ones that need honest reassessment. You'll manage a team of two mid-level product managers. You'll have a direct reporting line to the CPO and a seat at the leadership table. The expectation is that you come in, understand the current state clearly before forming strong opinions, and then form very strong opinions. We're not looking for someone who will manage a roadmap spreadsheet. We're looking for someone who will push back on the engineering team when a feature is being overengineered, push back on sales when they're making promises the model can't keep, and push back on us when the strategy is wrong.
