Junior AI Compliance Chatbot Escalation Engineer

About the role

Have you ever wanted employees to actually get a straight answer to a compliance question instead of a link to a forty-page policy PDF? We already monitor regulatory changes and generate compliance training content; what's missing is a chatbot employees trust enough to ask questions before they act, with a clean escalation path to a human compliance officer when the question gets genuinely ambiguous. In this junior role you'll help tune the chatbot's escalation logic against real employee questions, working under a senior engineer's guidance to figure out exactly where the line between 'the bot can answer this' and 'a human needs to see this' actually sits.

Responsibilities

  • Help tune chatbot escalation logic against real employee questions
  • Label ambiguous questions to improve escalation accuracy
  • Support senior engineers in expanding chatbot policy coverage
  • Track and report escalation accuracy metrics weekly

Requirements

  • Some experience with Python and LLM-based chatbots
  • Interest in compliance or policy-heavy domains
  • Eagerness to learn escalation and classification fundamentals
