About the role
We are building AI tools for nonprofit organisations — charities, NGOs, and social enterprises that cannot afford enterprise software but have the same operational complexity as companies three times their size. This is a mission-driven product role with a genuine learning arc. As a Junior AI Product Associate, you'll work with our Head of Product to gather user feedback, write feature specs, track product metrics, and help coordinate delivery with our small engineering team. If you care about impact, want to learn what good product management looks like from the inside, and are excited about AI doing something genuinely useful, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user interviews with nonprofit clients and synthesise findings
- Draft product specs and user stories for upcoming features
- Track feature adoption and report on product metrics weekly
- Coordinate sprint ceremonies and keep Notion and Jira up to date
- Gradually own small features end to end as you develop
Requirements
- Genuine interest in product management and AI tools
- Able to write clearly and logically — specs, meeting notes, user stories
- Comfort with data — basic SQL or a willingness to learn quickly
- Empathy for non-technical users — you understand that not everyone thinks like an engineer
- Any experience with nonprofits or social enterprises is a bonus, not a requirement
