About the role

We track AI adoption trends across 14 industries for consulting firms and corporate strategy teams. Our reports are read by C-suite executives making multi-million dollar technology investment decisions. The data behind those reports needs to be rigorous, current, and clearly presented. This part-time role (20h/week) is focused on data collection, cleaning, and visualization. You'll gather data from public APIs, industry reports, and proprietary surveys, then transform it into Tableau dashboards and summary statistics for our research team. You'll also help maintain our tracking database in SQL. Ideal for someone pursuing a degree in data science or a related field who wants hands-on experience with real business data. You'll learn how data becomes insight becomes strategy, and you'll see your work cited in reports read by Fortune 500 executives.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and clean data from public APIs and industry reports
  • Build and maintain Tableau dashboards for AI adoption tracking
  • Write SQL queries to update and validate our tracking database
  • Prepare summary statistics and data visualizations for research reports
  • Assist with ad-hoc data analysis requests from the consulting team

Requirements

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in data science, statistics, or related field
  • Python proficiency with pandas
  • Comfortable writing SQL queries
  • Basic Tableau or data visualization experience
  • Available for 20 hours/week
