About the role

We publish internally and encourage our team to write up findings clearly, even in entry-level roles. You'll be joining a research-driven culture from day one. Your first project will be building simple dashboards tracking how researchers use our literature discovery tools, using SQL and Tableau against our usage logs. This is a freelance engagement to start, with clear potential to grow into a bigger analytics scope as you prove out the work.

Responsibilities

  • Build usage dashboards from research platform logs
  • Write short weekly summaries of key usage trends
  • Support senior analysts with ad hoc data pulls
  • Keep dashboard documentation up to date

Requirements

  • Some experience with SQL and a BI tool like Tableau
  • Comfortable working independently on a freelance basis
  • Clear written communication
  • Curiosity about academic research workflows
