About the role

We do not expect you to arrive with every answer. We do expect curiosity, care, and enough engineering discipline to learn in production without breaking things casually. This junior role is for someone early in their ML career who wants real ownership with strong mentorship.

Responsibilities

  • Support classification and extraction models used in document workflows
  • Help build training datasets and evaluation reports
  • Implement smaller model and pipeline improvements under guidance
  • Investigate production issues with senior engineers
  • Contribute clean, well-documented code and tests

Requirements

  • 1-2 years in software, data, or ML engineering
  • Python for experimentation and backend tasks
  • PyTorch for model training basics
  • SQL for labelled datasets and debugging
  • Statistics fundamentals for evaluation metrics
  • Docker familiarity for local development workflows
