About the role
Hey! We're a small team building an AI-powered resume screening tool. Nothing crazy complicated, but it's real production code used by actual HR teams. We need a junior ML engineer who's excited to learn fast and not afraid to ask questions. You won't be left alone to figure things out — there's a senior engineer who codes with you every day. We care more about curiosity and clean code than years on a CV.
Responsibilities
- Help build and test classification models for resume scoring
- Clean and preprocess text data under guidance of the senior engineer
- Write tests and document the code you ship
- Join weekly sprint reviews and share what you learned
- Gradually take ownership of your own feature branches
Requirements
- A solid grasp of Python and at least one ML library (Scikit-learn, PyTorch, or similar)
- Familiarity with classification problems and basic model evaluation
- Able to read documentation, debug your own code, and communicate clearly
- University project, personal project, or bootcamp is totally fine as experience
- Bonus: any experience with NLP or text processing
