About the role
We are a Series A computer vision startup with models running in production on AWS. Our MLOps setup is functional but scrappy. We need a junior MLOps engineer to help build it properly. This is a structured role with a clear learning path — you'll be working alongside a senior MLOps engineer who has time to mentor. Suitable for candidates with 0–2 years professional experience or strong internship background.
Responsibilities
- Help maintain our ML training pipelines on AWS
- Assist with containerising models for deployment using Docker
- Support experiment tracking setup in MLflow under senior guidance
- Monitor training jobs and alert on failures
- Write runbooks and internal documentation for processes you learn
Requirements
- Understanding of Docker — can write and debug a Dockerfile
- Basic Python scripting
- Familiarity with at least one cloud provider (AWS preferred)
- Any exposure to CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar)
- Willingness to learn Kubernetes, MLflow, and Airflow on the job
