About the role

We are an AI-native startup and we need a principal data scientist who can operate at the highest level — setting technical direction, mentoring the team, and personally delivering high-stakes models that move the business.

Fully remote.

Responsibilities

  • Set the technical vision for the data science practice
  • Personally develop our most critical predictive models
  • Review and raise the bar on all team modelling work
  • Partner with the CTO on AI product strategy
  • Represent the company at conferences and in thought leadership

Requirements

  • 8+ years of data science with a track record of production models
  • Deep Python expertise (Scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow)
  • Able to design end-to-end ML projects independently
  • Strong communication with C-suite stakeholders
  • Experience hiring and developing data science teams
