Senior Data Scientist

About the role

We're building the next generation of content strategy tooling for marketing teams who publish hundreds of articles a month and need to know which topics are actually worth the effort. We publish our methodology internally and expect the person in this role to read outside research and adapt it to our content gap problem, not just apply an off-the-shelf library. You'll build statistical models in R and Python that estimate content performance before a single word is written. Expect close collaboration with our content strategy automation engineers, who will consume your models directly inside their planning tools.

Responsibilities

  • Build statistical models estimating content performance pre-publication
  • Validate findings against real traffic and engagement data
  • Collaborate with the content strategy automation team on integration
  • Document methodology clearly enough for peer review

Requirements

  • 5+ years as a data scientist with strong statistics fundamentals
  • Proficiency in both R and Python
  • Experience with scikit-learn for applied modeling work
  • Comfortable reading and adapting academic research
