Senior ML Engineer

About the role

We're building the next generation of AI-powered drug discovery tools and need a senior ML engineer who's comfortable working at the intersection of deep learning and biochemistry. Our platform processes millions of molecular simulations daily, and the models behind them need constant iteration. You'll own the full lifecycle of our prediction models — from prototyping new architectures in PyTorch to deploying them behind FastAPI endpoints on Kubernetes. The team is small (8 engineers) but ships fast: we release weekly and run continuous A/B tests on model outputs against wet-lab results. This isn't a research-only role. Every model you build will be tested against real experimental data within weeks. If you want your work to have tangible impact on how new therapeutics are discovered, this is the place.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full ML pipeline from data ingestion to production deployment
  • Architect and iterate on deep learning models for molecular property prediction
  • Partner with the biotech team to validate model outputs against lab data
  • Build and maintain model serving infrastructure on Kubernetes
  • Drive adoption of experiment tracking and reproducibility best practices

Requirements

  • 5+ years building production ML systems
  • Deep expertise in PyTorch and model optimization
  • Experience deploying models at scale with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with MLflow or similar experiment tracking tools
  • Bonus: background in computational biology or chemistry
