About the role

Have you ever wanted to build the pipelines that let other teams stop waiting weeks for clean training data? Our synthetic data generation process still involves too many manual handoffs between the modeling team and the requesting business unit. As Senior Synthetic Data Workflow Automation Engineer, you'll design self-service pipelines on Databricks and Spark that let internal teams request, validate, and receive synthetic datasets without opening a ticket. The impact compounds fast: every hour you save per request multiplies across dozens of requests a week from teams building on top of our synthetic data platform.

Fully remote.

Responsibilities

  • Design self-service synthetic data request pipelines
  • Automate validation checks for statistical fidelity
  • Build Spark jobs for large-scale synthetic dataset generation
  • Reduce manual handoffs between teams requesting data

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience with Spark and Databricks pipelines
  • Strong Python and SQL skills
  • Experience with statistical validation of synthetic data
  • Track record of shipping internal automation tools
