AI Supply Chain Software Vulnerability Scanner

Eliana Magnusson

Contract · Job · New_York

About the role

Our mission is to catch threats before they reach a client's network, and one of the fastest-growing attack surfaces is the open-source dependency chain most teams never audit. Our malware classification and intrusion pattern models protect the network perimeter well, but a compromised package sitting quietly in a client's build pipeline slips past all of that. This contract role builds a scanner that analyzes software bills of materials and flags dependencies showing signs of supply chain compromise.

Responsibilities

  • Build scanning models that flag suspicious software dependency behavior
  • Analyze SBOM data across client build and deployment pipelines
  • Correlate findings with known supply chain compromise indicators
  • Deliver actionable reports the security team can act on immediately

Requirements

  • Strong background in software supply chain security
  • Experience analyzing large dependency graphs at scale
  • Comfortable with Python, SQL, and AWS-based data pipelines
  • Ability to work independently on a defined contract scope

Benefits

  • Six-month contract with strong extension potential
  • Fully remote, async-friendly schedule
  • Competitive contractor day rate
  • Direct access to the core threat research team
